School Uniform
We expect students at Islip Manor High School to show pride in belonging to our school community.
This pride is in part demonstrated by the way in which our students wear their uniform, which is compulsory from Years 7 to 11.
Our uniform is smart, practical and relatively inexpensive. Most of our uniform can be bought in any High Street clothing store but the branded items can only be bought from our uniform suppliers, Kevin’s. Kevin’s can be found at 17, The Broadway, Greenford, Middlesex, UB6 9QH.
School Uniform for Girls and Boys:
- Plain black footwear, either school shoes or trainers with a black sole and no coloured logos, laces or trims.
- White school polo shirt.
- Black loose fitting trousers or loose fitting black skirt (at least knee length) Kevin’s have examples of the Charleston style skirt which is the style required, although you can purchase these elsewhere if you wish. Trousers should not be in ‘skinny style’ - again, Kevin’s has examples of the appropriate style of trousers.
- Black plain belt with small, plain buckle.
- Black or white plain socks or plain black tights.
- Black V-neck jumper with school emblem (no cardigans, round-necks, hoodies or sports tops).
Additional items:
- Tights if worn must be black opaque.
- Plain outdoor coat with no logos, in black.
- If hijabs are worn, these should be plain and black or white.
Please note that hooded tops and baseball caps are not allowed at Islip Manor High School (apart from the hooded PE top as part of our PE uniform). These items will be confiscated if worn. No denim items may be worn. The school reserves the right to decide what constitutes proper school uniform when areas of uncertainty arise.
PE Uniform:
- Black polo top with school badge
- Plain black shorts (no logos / stripes / patterns allowed)
- Black football socks
- Optional: Black tracksuit bottoms, black sweatshirt - these items must have no logos / stripes / patterns.
